Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This information is intended for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your contact details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to record your login information and display choices on the screen. Login cookies last two days and screen option cookies last one year. If you select "Remember me", your connection will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). The embedded content of other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, integrate additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including tracking your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to this website.

With whom do we share your data?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long do we keep your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve all the following comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and modify this information.

What are your rights to your data?

If you have an account on this site or if you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including all the data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where is your data sent?

Visitor comments can be checked via an automated spam detection service.
